What’s in the Tea?
Citrus peel, rooibos, blue butterfly pea blossom, rosehips, lemon verbena, blueberries, and pine needles. Not necessarily in that order. Every herb in this blend has a reason for being there. I don’t waste space or resources. I believe in providing products that actually have healing properties that are accessible to anyone. At the same time anyone with specific issues will benefit greatly from the teas they select from our collection when consumed properly and consistently.
The Why
Citrus and rosehips are high in anti-oxidants and vitamin C. and provide a nice sweetness to the blend. Rooibos also known as redbush or red tea is high in anti-oxidants and is also great for stabilizing blood sugars. If you want healthier hair and skin, rooibos is there too. Other players in this same arena in this tea blend, blueberries and blue butterfly pea blossom. I’ll break them down separately. Lets look at Blueberries first. Blueberries are the highest in anti-oxidants, much higher than most other fruits and vegetables. They may reduce DNA damage, lower blood pressure, improve brain function, help fight urinary tract infections, and reduce muscle damage after strenuous exercise and enhance quick recovery. Not to mention they add a spectacular quality flavor to the tea. I love Blueberries! Blue butterfly pea blossom is really gaining popularity mostly because of the color that comes out when it is steeped. But, there is more to this little blossom, there is promise in studies that point to stabilizing blood sugars. It’s high in anti-oxidants and is anti-inflammatory. This little blossom is also gaining notice in the weight watcher circles. Not the company but the people looking to control their weight. This herb also promotes healthy hair and skin. Moving on, Lemon Verbena, This herb is very therapeutic in nature. Lemon Verbena is considered as a protection against cellular damage which is why it is popular in skincare products. But as a tisane infusion it really shines from the inside out. Its compounds are anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory so much so that it may actually reduce oxidative stress. It helps with falling asleep and anxiety and is also beneficial to athletes. Helping them to recover faster after workouts and reduce post workout pain. Lemon verbena also helps with producing good gut microbiome and therefore may help with reducing obesity. What’s not to love about Lemon Verbena? Hold on I’m not done yet. Pine Needles is the final flavor and health note on the list. Pine needles are an expectorant and also high in anti-oxidants. Pine needles promote many healthful and helpful actions including more mental clarity, healthy heart function and reduction of inflammation. Pine Needles also help refuel the body during and after exertion.
In conclusion
I hope you will try this tea. It’s really packed with flavor and great health benefits.
