Welcome Back! If you are new to our blog I am going to attempt to demystify the medicinal properties of the blends in our line of teas. My goal is to help you find what you need and understand what the herbs individually do. Why? I love helping people understand their health better and I geek out on plants and how our bodies respond to them. I find it miraculous really! So, roses play a role, combined in just the right amounts in this recipe. Roses are amazing not only for their aromatic qualities but as a herbal medicine. The qualities as you might guess are that they are known to be used as a mild sedative. Also roses can be anti-inflammatory in nature as well as an anti-depressant remedy. Roses have been known to also assist in the reduction of high cholesterol. Roses have been cultivated for about 3,000 years. Originally from Iran, sadly outside of the garden and green house they are no longer found there in the wild. Sappho the Greek poet named Rose the “Queen of Flowers” It is no small wonder that this Recipe Fairy Flower , My very first Tea blend has gained such popularity. With such royalty infused in every cup! In these times I hope that you enjoy the gift of Serenity and calming of the nerves that the Mother Earth has to offer.
