I’m going to show you how calendula can heal.  First I want to talk about how she heals in the garden. Calendula is like little pots of gold protecting the garden from many bugs. Yes Calendula is quite the companion for many plants in the garden. If you are into gardening the book “ Carrots Love Tomatoes

Calendula Magic

Calendula is so magical in the realm of plant medicine. I get so many compliments on the Fairy Flower Tisane and on the Antoinette’s Garden Tisane. Calendula because of it’s golden color is esthetically pleasing. but that is only part of my reasoning. When I choose ingredients for the teas have to do several things. They have to come together to taste great. The next thought is that they have to synergistically do the job that I am intending. Such as Calm the nerves and lift the mood as in the Fairy Flower. The last requirement but not least is the teas should be visibly pleasing.

The reason Calendula Is

The reason I call Calendula the Florence Nightingale of the flower world is because she is a major player in clearing toxic inflammation and swelling. Calendula heals skin disorders, you might want to make or get a salve for external use. But getting it internally is the place to start. Imagine relieving lymph congestion and female infections with something natural?

The Pesky Troublemakers

Calendula knows how to take care of those pesky bacteria, fungal and amoeba infections. this goddess warrior of a plant is a known fighter of cysts, tumors and some cancers. Have heart issues? Calendula tonifies the heart functions. But one of the most amazing attributes is the ability to heal all types of wounds, not just on the external surface of the body but internally too. She will keep scarring to a minimum and provide healing for all types of ulcerations. She is a cooperative herb and works well with other herbs such as the herbs that I have combined Calendula with when I created our Fairy Flower and Antoinette’s Garden tisanes. Make it part of your home’s herbal medicine chest!
