Brewing Instructions
Everyone’s taste is a little different, and most tea drinkers have their own brewing methods and ways to brew their favorite teas, so experiment. One thing to remember is stay away from unfiltered tap water. Spring water is best (not distilled), but filtered tap water is ok.
Use 3 or 4 grams of tea for a small to medium teapot or a teaspoon for 8 ounces of water. This is a delicate tea, don’t get the water too hot. Water should be about 170 to 180 degrees and steep for 3 or 4 minutes. You can get 2 or 3 infusions per pot.
165 to 175 degrees. For a 12 ounce pot use 3 or 4 grams or 2 heaping teaspoons.
